Everything You Need to Know About My Experience Microblading My Eyebrows
Microblading is literally life changing! As a lot of you all know by now, I got my eyebrows microbladed and it has really helped with my confidence and also made my life so much easier.
You could say my eyebrows were almost nonexistent to tell you the truth! They are super blonde and I cannot tell you how many people would ask me on a weekly basis if I had eyebrows or not. I got a ton of hate and rude comments just overall about the shape of my eyebrows when I drew them on. Some would say they are too dark, too light and not dark enough. They were too thick or too skinny. It was so crazy to me that my eyebrows have always been topic of discussion in my direct messages. I called them the eyebrow police! haha!
Before microblading
Growing up, kids made fun of me for my eyebrows ALOT! I just acted like it didn’t bother me and just played it off. When I got old enough, I started using eyebrow shadow in the beginning of high school to fill them in some and then in my last two years of highschool, I had them dyed with hair dye at a salon. That was a great fix but it faded every 2-3 weeks and got old fast. Basically, I have drawn them on every since highschool and it just got old the older I got. Orvil got tired of me saying wait, I need to draw my eyebrows on OR have you seen my brow brush or cream for my brows? It became a game for him to try to find it! haha!! He has been telling me to get this done for so long and I would just push it off and say maybe someday,
I was scared to get it done because I was afraid it would hurt or maybe even my brows would turn out uneven or crazy. I had deep down always wanted it done but was afraid honestly.
Made the appointment.
I finally made the appointment after I stopped nursing and then next thing I knew, a couple weeks went buy and I was sitting in the waiting room for my name to be called. She numbed my eyebrow area way before I went back there. Then she talked colors because I was going to have to get color in mine since they are so blond. She also used this really cool measuring tool that measured my face and helped her figure out where to draw them. She showed me what it was going to look like and explained I had been drawing my eyebrows wrong all this time. That was hard for me to understand, because I had watched a million eyebrow drawing/shading tutorials. For some reason, I was drawing my eyebrows to go down more, giving me a box look and pushing my eyes almost down. The way she drew it made my eyebrows look lifted and balanced and my face shape better.
After microblading
You can see the video I posted here.
She numbed it a couple times while she worked on them and they were done in about 1.5 hours! It didn’t even hurt because she numbed it so good. I have never had a t attoo and usually feel everything because I am so sensitive but it wasn’t bad at all!
Afterwards you have to put cream on your brows and clean them daily and then after about a week or two it starts to heal. You don’t have to go get a touch up but since I had to add so much color, I am going back in 4 months. You usually only need to go about once a year.
Was it worth it?!
I got this question the most. YESSS! It was 100% worth it!! I never have to draw them on at all or worry if I wipe them off or even worry if they are even or not!!
So please, if you are thinking about getting them done and have to draw them on daily I highly recommend them so much! I did it for me and no one else. Do what makes you happy more than anything!!
For everyone asking who I went to, I went to see Elissa at Harmony Microblading & beauty studio!! She is so talented!!
Have you ever had microblading done? Did you love it or are you wanting to get it done? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!!
Lots of Love,

You are beautiful! Shame on the nasty commentators!! Thank you for the information. Since I’ve aged my brows are not as pretty as they used to be and yes I have thought of having this process done.
