This Pep Rally Is For You!

Who doesn’t love a good pep rally?

I got most school spirited in high school and cheering people up and inspiring them is my jam. This pep rally is for YOU!

It all starts with being grateful.

Isn’t gratitude a wonderful thing? It makes you feel good just even saying it. Starting every morning with a grateful heart is everything. Don’t get me wrong, on the hard days it’s tough to find what you are grateful for but find it anyways. This gives you a strong foundation.

Choosing joy and changing your mindset are the first steps in being truly successful in life. People will break you down and tell you what you can’t do. They may even think because good things are coming your way that you think you’re better than them now. People change and so do you. If your friends are holding you down, move up. Your circle gets smaller on the way up. Hang around people you want to be like, people that motivate you to be the better you. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life. It’s up to you to listen or not. People will judge you for being different. That is on them, not you. You are special and you shouldn’t live your life because you are trying to make so and so happy! Make you happy first!

It took me a long time to realize that other’s opinions of me don’t matter! I matter! You know what, you matter too. I still fall into that trap sometimes when people write some negative comments on my pictures. Decide to not let that outside noise cloud your focus. You can’t make everyone happy. Life is what you make it and I have struggles just like anyone else. I’m a single mom but that doesn’t define me. It’s just my current situation. I don’t use it as an excuse either. If anything, it motivates me to push harder! Choosing to stay stuck in your struggles and not doing anything about it is what it is, a choice. What are you going to choose today?

Make a conscious decision to choose joy and if your day sucks, play some fun music and shake it until you break it, maybe even pour a glass of wine and sit on your porch. Get a gym membership and go work out!! Working out will make you feel so good and look good too! Go do something for someone else and see how it changes your mood.

BUT PLEASE for the love of God, please don’t let other people tell you what you can and can’t do ! ! 

This is your life.

If you don’t give it all you got you’re just cheating yourself. 🙌🏻 

Look back and think of all the accomplishments you have made in life! Listen, the best is yet to come if you just believe and work hard, really hard! 

Put the time in. Make goals. Be around the best people you can be around. Spend more time laughing than crying and blaming others. You have the conscious decision to turn it around in a split second and not look back.

Work hard. Work hard to achieve your goals. You have to work. No one is going to do it for you. Push yourself and utilize your recourses to benefit you now and in the future. Work as many hours as you need. Nothing comes easy.

Pray. God is amazing and will never ever forsake you. God is a safe place.

Dream. Dream HUGE! I mean it. God has blessed me so much and sheltered me through so many storms. Many of my dreams have already came true with God guiding me and keeping faith that in time it will happen. Dream wild crazy dreams!! This is your life.

Believe. Believe in yourself and keep your faith strong. You have so much power at your finger tips. Ideas are free and will make you money! You don’t have to have money to make it. You just need to start with one idea and believe!

Help others. That is my favorite thing. Helping others is everything. More good comes to you when you give and don’t stop loving.

Love. My heart hasn’t hardened. I still believe in love !! The kind that knocks you to your feet it’s so amazing. Love your people and love them hard, but most importantly, LOVE YOURSELF!!
