Meet your new favorite game-day snack! The crispiest, juiciest barbecue wings, so easy, so delicious! Who’s hungry 🍗
First, we used THIS air fryer and let me tell you, it’s a total upgrade from our old Ninja! It makes everything from french fries to eggs to donuts. The reusable containers are amazing too, just pop on the lid and store. Plus, the top comes off so you can set it right on the counter.
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings, separated at the joints
1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
How to make:
1. Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This is crucial for achieving crispy skin.
2. Season the Wings: In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure that the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.
3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your Ninja Crispi Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
4. Air Fry the Wings: Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd. You may need to cook them in batches.
5. Cook the Wings: Air fry for 20 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for another 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
6. Sauce the Wings (Optional): If desired, toss the cooked wings in your favorite wing sauce, such as buffalo, BBQ, or teriyaki.
7. Serve: Serve the crispy air fryer chicken wings immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese.
ENJOY! Make sure to share with your friends! It’s that good!
Lots of love,
Sarah & Orvil
