Harper’s Updated Bedroom // Our Vintage Farmhouse

We had the best time updating little Harper’s bedroom!! Storage to the rescue!! 

These campagne toy boxes are everything! 

We partnered with Land of Nod, a company that we love dearly to share Harper’s updated room!

We added some flowers from our friends at Fanciful Designs around her dresser too. 

Don’t let this sweet face fool you, deep down she is as messy as her mama! We were looking for a storage solution because toys were piling up all over her room and out into the studio! haha! I wanted something beautifully designed and versatile. These beautiful toy boxes really made her room and were everything we were looking for! 

I love clear open spaces! Simple is good y’all! Say it with me, simple is good ;)..

I believe a space for children should be open and free for them to learn and create. My mom always preached to me to have a clean open room and it will let my imagination grow! She is so right. I find people run to the most clean open spaces in your home as well to spend time together. Clean and fresh always inspires me. I know Harper was relieved to see there was a nice spot to put all her toys in and she uses them as a seats too. She also loves to play with her toys on top of the boxes, and color pictures like mini desks. Her bedroom window is my favorite and the view is unreal. You can see a huge chunk of the countryside right outside her window. It’s everything I have ever imagined for my little girl and we are truly thankful. She watches the cows roam and loves to yell out to the donkey she made friends with!

I can see her use these beautiful boxes for years to come. They would also look so beautiful at the foot of her bed, pushed together. She could store her favorite blankets and clothes as she grows up. 

Okay so lets talk about this future foodie play kitchen sink…  I promise I wouldn’t steer you wrong!! This thing is amazing and just the right size for my tall four year old. Honestly, believe it or not, I put this thing together all by myself. If you know me, that’s a miracle! It was so much easier than I thought. It is durable and beautifully designed!! I carried it all the way upstairs and it wasn’t shifting or moving at all. Harper just loves it. She has cooked many meals with it so far! It makes me happy to see her play and dream up all kinds of fun dreams. How cute is the over easy breakfast set ?! Seriously! I would of loved to have that as a child. It is so fun. She has made me waffles and eggs nonstop. 

Her sweet little butterfly costume is everything!! She has been dancing all through the house in it!!

Costumes are so great for their imaginations and play! 

I love the all the doors and the added rod, to hang all her little pots and towels. 

The sign is from Between me and you signs! Her sweet pillow is from Jolie Marche. She loves that it has her name on it. We got the fire pit from Land of Nod as well!! I squeeze in the tepee with her and we roast marshmallows and sing our favorite songs.

I love when that golden light pours into her room!! Isn’t it beautiful? 

We recently found a dresser in an old antique store out in the country! It was at the very back of the store and I just couldn’t believe it!! This piece was just made for Harper! I got it for $120!! SCORE!

We came across our friend, Fanciful Designs and were blown away by her talent!! Can you believe that these hanging flowers are handmade?? They are made out of paper too and have little hangers on the back to hang gently to your walls. I am still in awe by their beauty. Harper loves flowers and they are perfect for her room. I plan on using them for parties as well. Noel is a beautiful soul and her creations are by far the most beautiful pieces I have seen. She does a lot of weddings too. Her bed is from Beddys and zips up! We got the sweet cat from Land of Nod too.
