Our New Rug is Amazing & Lots more house pictures // Happy Saturday!

Hey everyone! Okay so I am trying to get better at blogging! This is my second blog post in a week! Can y’all believe it?!

I mean…I am shocked myself!

First of all, what are you all doing to make your home beautiful this week? It could be as big as making fun memories with your friends & family or decorating even the smallest corner of your home. Create that home you love!! I want to hear all about it.

This week I added a new rug to my galley kitchen and it is pretty amazing! I stumbled across a wonderful company called Loloi Rugs! Their fabrics and designs are mesmerizing.

I went with the Anastacia Collection AF-08 SLATE / MULTI. My galley kitchen is long and for those wanting to know the size, it’s 2′-7″ x 10′-0″ It looks like a painting. I feel like every time the light touches it, the color changes. I kid you not. I am sharing it in different lighting so you can see what I mean! 🙂 I have never bought a runner before. It got here super quick and was easy to roll out! The mat helped it stay even more snug into place. We have already got a ton of use out of it. (This includes our dance offs that happen every night in our house – see our Instagram video) I see a lot more Loloi rugs in our future!

Don’t let that darling face fool you! She is too much. Harp loves making snow angels on her new rug too haha!!

I cannot believe I am sharing this all with you.

A couple rooms are pretty bare. If you saw my Periscope, you know what I’m talking about. Everything is a work in progress and we are excited for the future and endless possibilities with this blank canvas…

This is all the same room. It’s a large living room and walkway into the kitchen & dining room. The door opened straight ahead goes to my bedroom.

There is a whole lot of random decor that I stocked away in the corners! haha! But really… think of all the possibilities! I am thinking a big fluffy rug, chandelier and tan or cream couches and chairs!!
